Billing Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: August 2026
These Billing Terms & Conditions cover the commercial side of a purchase: what you authorize us to charge, when we charge it, and what happens if something goes wrong with a payment. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and our Payment Methods.
| Billing at a Glance | Our Standard |
|---|---|
| When you are charged | Once, in full, at the time the order is placed |
| Subscriptions | None. We do not run recurring or installment billing |
| Stored card details | None. We do not retain payment credentials |
| Statement descriptor | Shown as PAYPAL followed by our store name |
| Authorization holds | Released by your bank, usually within a few business days |
| Billing disputes | Email us first. Most are settled within a day or two |
| Refunds | To the original method only. See our Return & Refund Policy |
1. Authorization to Charge
By submitting payment you authorize us, through our payment gateway, to charge the method you selected for the full order total shown at checkout, covering the goods, the $4.95 shipping charge and any applicable sales tax. You confirm that you are the authorized holder of that payment method or have permission to use it.
2. One-Time Charges Only
Every charge is a single transaction against a single order. We do not operate subscriptions, recurring billing, installment plans or deferred payment, and we do not store payment credentials for future use. Nothing you buy here will charge you again later.
3. Billing Information Accuracy
Please give a billing address that matches the one your card issuer holds, since a mismatch is the most common reason an otherwise valid payment is declined. If details change between placing an order and its dispatch, email us and we will update the record. Orders where billing details cannot be verified are held rather than canceled, and we email you before doing anything else.
4. Statement Descriptor
The charge appears on your statement as PAYPAL followed by our store name, rather than as the name of an individual product. If a line on your statement looks unfamiliar, send us the date and amount before contacting your bank and we will identify it for you.
5. Authorization Holds
Your bank may place a temporary authorization hold when an order is submitted, including on an attempt that did not complete. A hold is not a charge and no money moves. It is released by your issuer, usually within a few business days. We can supply the transaction reference to help you chase it.
6. Order Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to buy, and we accept it when the order is dispatched rather than when the acknowledgement email arrives. We may decline where an item is out of stock, where a price was listed in error, where payment cannot be verified, or where an order appears fraudulent. A declined order is refunded in full and we email you the reason.
7. Pricing, Taxes and Receipts
Prices are shown in United States Dollars, and the price applying to your order is the one displayed when you complete checkout. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where applicable. An itemized confirmation is emailed to the address you gave, listing the goods, the shipping charge, any tax and the total charged. If it has not arrived within a few hours, check your spam folder, then tell us and we will resend it.
8. Failed Payments
Where a payment is declined or later reversed, the order is held and nothing is dispatched. We email you once to ask for an alternative method and hold the stock while we wait. If we hear nothing within 48 hours the order is canceled and the stock released, and you are welcome to reorder at any time.
9. Duplicate Charges
If you think you have been charged twice for one order, email [email protected] with both transaction references. We confirm it with the gateway and refund the duplicate in full, under the same 7 business day commitment that governs every other refund on our Return & Refund Policy.
10. Billing Disputes and Chargebacks
If a charge looks wrong, contact us before raising a dispute with your bank. Most billing problems are settled by email in a day or two, whereas a chargeback takes weeks to run and freezes the order while it does. We supply payment records, tracking data and delivery confirmation to the issuer in response to any dispute, and we reserve the right to decline future orders from accounts with fraudulent chargebacks.
11. Fraud Prevention
Orders are screened for indicators of fraud by our gateway. An order flagged for review may be delayed while we verify it, and we will email you if we need anything from you. Genuine orders are rarely held for long, and no order is canceled on a flag alone without us contacting you first.
12. Refunds and Adjustments
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We cannot refund to a different card, a different account or by check, because the gateway will not permit it. Where a partial refund applies, it is calculated on the price actually paid for the returned item after any discount. Timing and conditions are set out on our Return & Refund Policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Billing Terms & Conditions. The version in force for your order is the one published here at the time the order was placed.
Billing Questions
Charges, receipts and refund amounts are all handled by email, and the sooner we hear about a discrepancy the faster it is fixed.
