Privacy Policy

This page explains what information we collect when you visit this website or place an order, what we do with it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. We collect what is needed to sell you a pair of shoes and answer your questions afterwards, and nothing beyond that.

1. Information We Collect
- Contact and delivery details. Name, email address, shipping address and billing address.
- Payment information. Processed by PayPal. Card and bank details are entered on PayPal systems and never reach ours.
- Order information. Items bought, order value, order history and any correspondence about an order.
- Technical information. IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and time on the site.
- Messages. What you send us by email or through the form on our Contact Us.
2. How We Use It
- To process, pack and deliver your order.
- To send order confirmations, dispatch notices and tracking numbers.
- To answer questions and handle returns, exchanges and refunds.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
We use your details for marketing only where you have opted in, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
3. How We Share It
- PayPal, to process payments securely.
- Carriers, being USPS, UPS and FedEx, to deliver your order.
- Service providers who host the site, send transactional email or provide analytics, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
If the business is ever sold or restructured, customer records may transfer to the new owner, who would remain bound by this policy. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information for marketing purposes.
4. Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences and measure traffic. Categories, durations and how to control them are set out on our Cookie Policy.
5. Data Retention
Order records, invoices and shipping documentation are kept for 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Email and contact form correspondence is kept for 12 months unless it relates to a matter still open. Marketing consents are kept until you withdraw them.
6. Security
The site is served over SSL/TLS encryption, and access to order records is restricted to the people who need it to fulfill your order. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take reasonable technical and organizational measures we cannot promise absolute security. If a breach ever affected your information, we would tell you rather than wait to be asked.
7. Your Rights
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete it, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
- Opt out of marketing at any time.
- Ask for a copy of your information in a portable format.
Email [email protected] to exercise any of these. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we respond within 30 days. Exercising a privacy right never affects the price you pay or the service you receive from us.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-Party Links
Our pages link to carrier tracking sites and to PayPal. Those sites are governed by their own privacy practices rather than by this policy, so we suggest reading them before sharing information there. If a link of ours takes you somewhere unexpected, tell us and we will look at it.
10. Do Not Track
Browsers vary in how they send Do Not Track signals and there is no agreed standard for responding to them, so we do not currently act on them. You can control tracking directly through the cookie settings described on our Cookie Policy.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always the one published here, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
Privacy Questions
For a copy of your data, a correction, a deletion request, or a question about anything above, these details reach us directly.
